Lonely Arts Club Pambula have a series of workshops which are inspired by, and engages with, the landscape of Panboola.
They are also FREE. Yippee!! (with thanks to Bega Valley Shire Council and Pambula Wetlands and Heritage Project Inc.) Places are limited to be sure to book.
Ephemeral Art Play - inspired by nature and land art of Andy Goldsworthy, Wendy Kenyon of Synergy Kids Yoga will lead a workshop exploring the autumn landscape of Panboola wetlands, and how through manipulation of natural items found on-site art can be created. Ephemeral (temporary) sculptures created on the day will be left in-situ for people wandering through the wetlands to find.
Animal Sculptures ...Bush Style - Inspired by the local native flora and fauna workshop participants will learn to make their own Panboola animals with Chrystal Rimmer who will demonstrate a style of binding and tying stick and plant fibre sculptures.
Art Propelled ...mark making - using movement, gravity, momentum, chance, and perhaps even the weather, art will be created experimenting with different ways to make marks. Experimental and exploratory, Belinda Rosenbaum will present different ways we can use these forces to create unpredictable but visually striking art
